Zahra Al-Najaf is a Paralegal with LEAD legal services.

Prior to joining PDA, Zahra worked as a legal assistant for the Medical Legal Partnership housed at the Northwest Justice Project where she led health and race equity efforts working alongside legal advocates, medical professionals, social workers, and community members. Zahra received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington with majors in Political Science and Near Eastern Studies.

Zahra is passionate about elevating the voices of marginalized individuals in a social, political, legal, personal, and communal capacity. She previously served on the Community Leadership team with the Road Map Project, a community led group dedicated to improving education quality and ending the school to prison pipeline for BIPOC students in South Seattle/King County. She also previously served as a board member for Legal Voice, an organization dedicated to ensuring women and LGBTQ rights through legal advocacy. Zahra has a background working, organizing, and engaging within the greater Seattle community.
