Jamila is a 33 year old mom and professional traveler. She was born and raised in WA, but if she could, she would live in Florida because it’s hot, humid, and flat. Lucas is a first-generation American. Her family comes from the Philippines and Puerto Rico.
She has a degree in Criminal Justice, but Jamila has been working in accounting since 2011. She started in debt collections but worked primarily in Accounts Receivable in the Construction field.
For the last 5 years, Lucas has held various positions as Contract Manager and Accounts Receivable Specialist where she balanced and reconciled high-dollar commercial contracts and billings for companies like Microsoft, Amazon, University of Washington Medical Center, and Amazon. With her experience reconciling accounts, Jamila looks forward to her Accounts Payable position with PDA and the possibilities of creating improvements that streamline processes for everyone.
