Professionally, John is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013, has eight recent years of experience in IT service management, and nine years of experience in project and operations management. In addition to his MSc and BBA degrees, John also holds various IT certifications including ITIL, Microsoft Azure, MCSE and CompTIA A+.
Prior to his arrival at PDA, John worked as a systems engineer at Seitel Systems for three years and has advised 20+ SME clients, including financial, law and non-profit firms, as their primary engineer for their IT infrastructure and related operations management. Before Seitel Systems, John worked as a department manager for five years at Seattle Metrics and was responsible for its IT and PMO services.
He hopes to bring his IT service management experience to PDA to make sure that appropriate processes, technology, and people are put in place to support and enable the agency to achieve its goals.
When off work, John likes traveling and enjoys seeking out authentic food while exploring hidden restaurants where only locals visit. Fun fact – he is also a runner who just went through 5 pairs of shoes in 2022!
