Lagafuaina Watson was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Her Samoan and Chippewa cultural roots laid a strong foundation of love, humility, dignity, and strength. These attributes continue to fuel her passion to serve individuals navigating systems unnatural to their upbringing.
A decade of service in the nonprofit sector working with youth and young adults in the South End of Seattle gave her the resilience to meet people where they are and the skills necessary to practice with intentionality. During her time with PDA, she hopes to create meaningful change and uplift those in her sphere toward outcomes that benefit the individual and community at large.
